Guide Tips On Buying A Used Bike - With Examples This Time!

Nice vlog :D ! Three cheers :D !!! Question - gear box - having trouble every so often shifting into first when stopped (have to try to roll it to get it in). I've read that this is a problem with Suzukis, but it seems like it's getting worse :o . Rarely, when shifting into first from second while moving, it sounds like it's trying to catch onto first gear (if that's the right term :o ... I'm pretty sure I have the clutch in all the way :o ). What could that be a symptom of :( ???

Anywho, if I would have had this guide a couple of years ago, I would have known my bike was a lemon :p hah!... but she's still a good bike, so I probably still would have gotten her ;) heheh.....

Thanks also in advance ^_^ !

(btw, hope to see you back on Twitter sometime :o ~.....)

Ah the transmission...it could be a number of things...the shift fork could be bent, the clutch plates could be worn and not disengaging the engine and trans and making it difficult to engage, the plates could be hanging on the clutch basket if it is grooved, the clutch cable may need to be adjusted. How many miles?

My bike has the getting neutral problem sometimes. According to one guy who enjoys tinkering, if one of the nuts in the box gets a slight burr, it causes that, replace it, it's like a new bike.

I found a much easier solution. Keep the oil 1/4" or 6mm from the top line on the dipstick, and it's perfect all the time, no taking the casings apart :)

Under 20,000... 17-19 or something like that :p . I'd check but it's about to rain, so I'm keeping the cover on today ~_~ .....
