Yea, nowadays I ask my viewers to leave a dislike if they didn't like the video, rather than just turn it off. It definitely helps.Yeah, although it feels nice when people sub, it really doesn't make much difference and certainly doesn't earn any money. Likes/dislikes and comments get more attention with the YT algorithm.
To see if your vids are hitting the mark check the stats to see how much of the videos people are watching.
No, you should not care. What you should care is the feedback from those that leave it, try to improve, or respond, based on the comments. Don't feed the trolls.Should I even care?

It's nice to see it go up, but it can also go down, if you pay too much attention to the numbers, sometimes you might feel bummed out if they are not hitting your expectation, hence why I'd say you should not care about the numbers. Focus on feedback (if any) to improve your next upload, and continue to have fun posting your stuff up.I just got really excited I recently reached 20 subs lol.
