It's clear many people are clueless about various topics but still feel the need to throw in their two cents on current events without doing any research.

I think that is just young people in general. All of a sudden they have been an adult for a few years and they feel they know it all based on current events, but have no life experience of living through previous events. No offense to young motovloggers, and I know that they are not all like that, but it is a pretty common thing amongst guys in their early 20's. I used to be one of them 20 years ago.

I have only ever watched one of his videos and that was just recently. What I saw did not appeal to me so I didn't subscribe to him. But I did comment and to my surprise he replied which is a rarity amongst the bigger motovloggers. As for why he got so big, I have no idea. Bought subs maybe, but shoutouts and hanging with the right people and stunt riding I am guessing?

Mostly, I think it was getting attention from some of the bigger YouTubers. If he had just bought subs, it would have been up and down for him. Back in the day, some of the really famous people on youtube bought a ton of views, subs and comments, but YouTube caught on and will shitcan your videos now or even pull your channel.

I watched a few of his vids and they are entertaining. It seems like he sensationalizes, but I think he's just one of those people that is always on and has no off switch. Just a big personality, and that's something you need if you want to be famous. I wish I could do that, but I'm way too laid back for that shit and it would come off as fake.

Yeah the buying views isn't want it takes any more to get big on youtube, youtube ranks mostly based on watch time, audience retention, and click through rate (the amount of people that click to another youtube video from your video, bonus points if its another one of your videos) you can't buy that, you could do sub4sub if the people subbing you are interested in your content then the will watch it but not so much because people just want views and watch time.
