There may be rust in my tank, HELP!

What do I do? I just checked my fuel level today, and realized I may have a rust issue. How do I remedy the situation before it spreads, or is it too late? (I can get pictures for you guys if need be)

Sometimes its easier to change the tank if its corroded.

What makes you think it has rust in the tank?

Yeah, I was thinking I might be able to.. There is rust along the inside of the tank as well as the opening.

there is this thing called por15 that wil strip the rust from ur tank then coat it so it wont ever rust again and the kit is only about $80 i had my tank done and its great

Hmm, its rare to see modern tanks rusting inside, people dont realise how much condensation and water is actually inside a tank.

I saw a post where a guy filled the tank (after removal) with rust remover, chucked in a medium sized chain and after leaving it for a few hours, shaked the chain in the tank.

Rinse and potentially repeat
