The use of #hashtags

How many of yall are properly using hashtags in your videos/social media posts?
I've pulled hashtags from larger channels on youtube but it seems to be a shot in the dark alot of times, clout(sub-count) weighs heavily over actual keyword searches it seems.

I started using hashtags in my instagram posts this week and the likes are through the roof along with a boost in profile views/followers. I'm sure lots of these accounts that immediately like my posts are bot accounts but hey I'm like the extra love lol.

I think on YT video description you are allowed 3 hash-tags max.

I don't know the mechanics of how the # work but I guess putting relevant ones is always a better choice than putting trending tags just to click-bait people and annoy them..

If I get annoyed with something to a level that I shit-list it, then there's no undo for that.

On Instagram hashtags really count, you should use the hashtag search IE: While in a post type "#Triumph" a list will pop up of the most popular hashtags starting with "Triumph".

However Youtube is another story, in a separate library, stick to relevant hashtags only. Even Youtubes internal algorithm will get

when you guys mentioned hashtags on youtube are these the tags underneath description? :O If it's not then I really have much to bloody learn :(

Hi, a newbie motovlogger but I'm going to put "hashtags on everything" . I've always used hashtag on IG.
