Hi Guys,

The Solar Bear Challenge is back for 2011 - 2012, it's a fun way for motovloger's to get on their Motorbike in winter, assuming you live in a warmer climate, good participation from the US & UK last year. In 2010-2011, RC62 moderated the first SBC, the objective was to spell out the words "Solar Bear" by finding street signs that begin with particular letters.

Website for more info: http://www.solarbear-2.rc62.net

Challenge Dates:
Start Date: December 1st 2011
End Date: February 14th 2012

You are all welcome to join in the fun, there will be prizes :D
The SBC runs almost parallel to the Polar Bear Challenge PBC

The signs you need are the ones from 1 to 10 on the stats page:
http://www.solarbear-2.rc62.net/stats.html

There are no motorway signs; the top pic on the site is just a logo pic. Scroll down the page to find the signs you need.
Yield USA = Give Way UK

The challenge is scooter friendly, you don't need a 600cc+ bike, any ride will do.

You can only start filming on the 01/12/2011, so some time to go, it is a winter challenge. No need to do it in one day, you will have plenty of time.
Start Date: 01/12/2011
End Date: 14/02/2012

Also please read the Rulz & Qualifying: http://www.solarbear-2.rc62.net/info.html

"Only one video per day will count toward challenge matching (you can hit multiple signs on the same day but they must be posted as separate and unique 3 min videos on different days)"

Count me in for this year my dear Gogosor !

I think I'll have a really hard time finding some of those signs but hey, that's why it's called a challenge !

Does the street letter still count for this year or is it just about the road signs ?
