Hey All, What was your favorite movie, or song, or thing from the 80's that you wished was still around?
I wished the Transformers G1 series would have made a comeback to Saturday morning cartoons, along with GI Joe, Thundercats, Voltron, He Man and others. This is the forum about everything 80's. LOL

Did someone delete my first post :o ???

Terminator & Terminator 2 were the best... some epic, all time great movies were made during the 80's :D ... unlike the stuff they keep rolling our right now :/ .....

Also, music was nice... some solid hits :) . Never was a Michael Jackson fan, though :( . Gott'a love that synthesizer sound :p !!!

Terminator and Terminator 2 were cool. I agree, some of the stuff rolling our way, is downright silly. I was not really a Michael Jackson Fan, but more of a Def Leppard, Poison, Motley Crue, and even Kiss fan. There were some good music back then. The synthesizers were cool, like the one at:

Yep, CBRHoonigan, they are old. :) Here is a clip from the movie "Top Gun" in which I think was pretty good at:
.
When I was in the Navy, I was stationed at this base. The intro to the movie is pretty much what it is like during flight operations under ideal conditions, imho.

This clip is from most of the movie of "Top Gun" at:

As a person who was stationed there, the movie, from what I understand from people who were there, thought Tom Cruise was too arrogant, even though he played an arrogant pilot in the movie, He was even more arrogant to the service members there on the base. He tried to get a salute from one of the guards on the base, and the guards would not salute him, even though he played an officer.

I love the ending of Top Gun, when they are reunited. Ahh the cold war, where did you go :p ??? I prefer that so much more over all of this terrorism stuff now-a-days ~_~ ... back then people didn't care who walked into a school - they were all un-air-conditioned anyways :p ~

Ahhh, Labryinth, sad to say, I never saw that movie, but I will definately look it up on yotube. Yeah, I like that synthesizer music, even the one from Europe, "The Final Countdown" . :)

The Cook, the thief, his wife, and her lover. 1989. Can't find the full length movie on YT but here's part 1.

When i first saw this, in Denver, Colorado, it was not well received.

It's my second favourite movie, ever.
