So I just recently got into my phone and finally found a way to adjust the hardware gain manually... let me know what you think of the audio now.. cheers!

That sound quality is inspiring! Recording through your iPhone? I'm asking, because I bought the same mike with MicroFur covers yesterday, and plan on using my iPhone as a stand alone.

Through my Samsung Galaxy Note II, I had to install a custom kernal and ROM though... I use microfur too !

Let me know how you go with the iPhone as I might be getting the 6 soon via my phone provider.. and I'm hoping I can get the same control over the gain as I have now.

ya, but that might just be software gain, like many android apps.. I might test it out on my friends phone first.

With what settings were you recording?

0 in hardware gain (through this thing called Boeffla Sound Control on android)
0 db and with AGC disabled in RecForge lite.
