General T'biker - My Setup & Advice Wanted

Loved the video!!!! I have a GoPro 3+ mounted on top my helmet, and a microphone that I route under the neck wind curtain of my helmet then stick the actual mic in my cheek pad as well.
Thats my set up anyway.

Thanks Runnin1ife.

I'm wanting to avoid one stuck to the top of the helmet personally, if I can (One reason being I'll forget, and knock it off as I ride under my garage door! ;))

A second is that I often use a flip-front helmet, which means it would just get in the way.

And the other is I'll feel a bit self-conscious that I'll look like a Teletubby LOL...... :p

I feel you on all the above. i have actually whacked it leaving my house on my door jam and I am only 68" tall.
I hope I don't look like a tele tubby, but if I do at least I don't have to look at myself much.
The modular helmet is nice, I am looking to get one in the next 6 months. Guess I will not be mounting it to the top of that one. Stay safe brother!!

Nice vid. I like your intro.
Yeah your first camera setup was pretty shaky. I decided to use my body as the vibration absorber straight up by mounting it on the side of my helmet. I also got the Sony ActionCam AS100V which has build in image stabilisation which helps heaps too.
I didn't like the mounts that came with it so ended up using a product called 3M DualLock (velcro on steroids) to mount the camera to the side of my helmetl, its amazing stuff.

I'll have to look out for the 3M DualLock. I've normally used their VHB double-sided adhesive foam tape for sticking things, but that's a more permanent solution.

Removable sounds good, especially as I have more than one helmet I'd use the camera on :)

I ordered some 3M Dual Lock through Ebay and all i can say is WOW!

It's more than sufficient for mounting a camera. I can even attach the mount, and use this to wave the helmet around, so it'll be plenty strong enough for a No-Pro....

Thanks for the tip, @Mach1 Aus :)
