Hello all

I've finally passed my test, and finally got the SV I've always wanted, and now...... Its snowing :?
Anyway, does anyone know where one can download operators manuals? Obviously Ebay will be my next choice...

I hope to make a vlog soon, alot has been going on this year :)

Congratulations mate :), and on getting an SV. Im going to get one also after my test let me know how the bike is

Thanks Guys, Its a great bike. Was a little worried about the size of it, going from a CBR 125 to an SV, but I'm officially in love!
Obviously so much more power, and its on tap, with lots more to give.. Cornering feels different to the 125, with the SV theres a force pulling in the other direction.. can't explain it... Weight difference I guess?

Another thing I didn't realise would happen, is the amount of heads it turns... Music to the ears!!!

All of the above standard to most members with a full licence....
love it!!

Get some pictures up of her :)

Also, with regards to the Manual do you mean the OEM Manual? I'd suggest you get a Haynes it's lot more usefull, OEM manuals just tell you about when to check things. Haynes tells you the same & shows you have to strip a bike down from first bolt to very last bolt.

You will also find you SV will want to lean more rather than upright, don't be affraid to lean the SV will cope very easy.

Head turning, do you have a standard can or different?

Pics, Pics, Pics :)

Well done aswell always a nice feeling to pass & take them L plates off.

Great bike! Now join svrider.com, everything you ever wanted to know about the SV is there. Should be a downloadable manual in the FAQ section.

No No No, Join Sv650.org, it's British, you'll find locals closer to you to help if needs be. :)

Can always sign up to both I guess. Like me :)

I'm on Holiday this week, so will do a walkround video, and upload sometime soon, theres 10cm of snow at the moment, so my Holiday of riding is cancelled... Just a week of polishing her I guess..lol

I'll take a look at the sites, sounds interesting. I'll now go to the link posted... I really just need to look for the info you get in the bikes manual.. For basic checks, tyre pressures, and Oil info.

Is the K3 variety if anyone has any info on checks?

Hoping to get an SV650s when I do my DAS, In June though so a while away at the moment :(
Have fun when the weather suites! :D

It has the standard exhaust :)

Wait untill you add a slip on your face will light up.

is it a K3? & Do you mean, whens the best time to check the oils & other maintenance?

Yeah its a K3, and I've put a little footage up of her :)
All sorted for information on the Checks now, as Conrod posted a link to some pdf downloads.

I'm getting rid of the Rim tape, and adding some sv650 decals from ebay. Would have prefered an later model, with the Black wheels and frame, but I'm happy with it.

Have a few ideas to customise, but don't want to over do it, and make it look tacky..

The video is set to private.

Get fairings, New can, Fenda Extenda, & Seat cowl.

Will look the buisness. :) there just basic upgrades which every SV owner does. Then after that you can think performace.
