Mistar Biker
Hi All.

this is kind of a specific question to GSX1250 owners, but want to know if there is a good reason not to do a track day on this bike.

I know its kinda big and all but want to put it through its paces (as best I can anyway..)

Never done a track day before and am aching to do one this year at Brands Hatch. Got new D buckle helmet and Full leathers, in compliance with track day rules..so raring to go.

Really interested to know if any one else has taken this kind of bike round the laps and what you thought of it.

Cheers

I don't see why not, I'd get crash protection on the bike and find out how much plastics are in case you bin it across the gravel :)

You'll be fine. Do the novice group and take it easy, build up your speed and enjoy your day.

I do tracks quite a bit so if you need info, i might be able to advice.

Lurch you top man....this is just what I was looking for :), my brother also wants to do a track day but is currently without wheels and did not really want him to use mine.
This is perfect and the price is good to. MANY THANKS

Just looked, Ron Haslam for CBR600RR half day is £295, No Limits are £170 for your own bike & gear etc, no idea how much track time you get with each one though.

No limits isn't 170?

And yes, I'd say tracks make you a better rider. I'm at snetterton at the moment lol

Saw prices from £149-£169 for Donington Park between now and June on their website. Trackdays.co.uk (i think) were £149.

I've no idea how much track time you get on the No Lomits ones, or the Haslam half day courses.
