Apparently it's a playdo like substance that moulds as a glue, people have used to help mount curved GoPro mounts etc but wanted to know if anyone's trial and tested and had any disasters
Yeah, the videos I've seen are people first time using/installing but there's no follow up as if it actually lasted or left somebody's GoPro down the road
Well, I got some through the post yesterday and set it up on the curved mount.. will be out testing it later this week so will let you know if I come home without a camera.
Used Sugru to attach to my helmet. It's been on 2 months now and is as strong as ever. It feels really solid. I've picked up the helmet by the mount and swung it around and it hasn't budged.
Just an update. Used it and tried it in hot weather, cold weather and heavy rain - seems to be strong and durable so far. No GoPro's were harmed in the testing It did seem to take sometime to set, but I went on holiday for a few days after I applied it and came back to it fine.
