Subs Vs Views

Slight change of direction on the topic, but it's not worth a new thread.

Posted a vid in YT earlier of my 6th episode of randoms. Not sure if it's because it's a cold Sunday evening, but it's gained views and likes really quickly relative to any of my other vids.

So is it boredom bringing them in, or just a surge in popularity of random collections?! Not complaining of course!
If you have a good surge early in the videos release your video gets recommended to more people and you end up with a snowball effect.

Well i take the average views from my videos and thats usually what id count as my subscriber rate, i mean theres the odd video over 1k and one nearly 100k but on average i get about 500 views so id class that as 500 subs

Very sensible with YouTube's broken subscriber system.

*caution - rant*

The only thing I'm on is Twitter. Forget Gaggle+, Facebook, etc... privacy is a real big thing for me. Some motovloggers have told me that I don't have to use my real name, but they get my IP address and target me that way, so it's close enough.

*rant over*
are you worth chasing? Its q i ask everyone thats so worried about privacy.

I'm just doing it for a laugh something to do with my time ...if it entertains anyone I'm double chuffed lol just keep doing what you do and enjoy it

...speaking of subs vs. views, does anyone feel bad when they gain a few subs but loose one at the same time :o ? Seems like it's a never-ending cycle :p .....

Don't focus too much on the numbers, just have fun doing what you like and sharing it, if people like it, they'll watch it. The ratio is more like 10% of your subscribers will view your video, even then it's not always the case.

I don't really check on the numbers anymore, I only check once a while to see if any milestone is reached, i.e. every 10K subs or 1M views, that's all.
