stupid snow

I really do hate this stupid snow, I brought a ticket to go to the motorbike show in London ExCel on sunday, but i was going to go to London today and sleep round my aunts as she lives just outside of London and then go to the show on sunday, but now i can't go because the roads are just to bad for a bike to be on and almost came off my bike on a hill as i tryed to get to my house and also i have brought a ticket for nothing really :x :cry:

Can you not catch a train? Much safer, although saying that, with our transportation system, your likely to get stuck in London!!

i could catch a train but the cost of a ticket would be quite alot i think and if i did get a train to london i wouldn't know where to go as i have never been to london before.

I was meant to be going sunday too, hopefully meeting Friz, Extreme601, and Daffee, but the risk of snow forced me to go saturday (today) instead. However, if you can go, you will have a whale of a time, it really is as good as the hype!

My wife has a Suzuki vanvan, which I think would be a hoot to ride in fresh snow, however she had the screaming abdabs when I suggested I take it out for a spin in the morning. Denied.

yeah I'm hating the weather here too. Been snowy/icy for allmost a week. -12°C at a standstill according to the weather feels like -20 so imagine 20 miles on a motorbike! Infact I've been banned from riding by my medic as I'm ill =( can't wait for the spring.

Tickets to London are surprisingly cheap. If you're still interested in going, have a look this morning.
I'm catching the train in little over an hour to there. I have no idea where I'm going in the slightest but, hey, its an adventure you'll work it out.

Why? I went out in it last year, when I had my scooter and crashed twice. Seriously don't, unless you want to destroy you scooter.

Well, I'm fortunate my place of work is a 10 minute walk away, and when I have to go anywhere else I can claim it on expenses, might have to get a train to dunstable in a few weeks, we shall see..
