Stand Up Jet Skis

Anyone here ride them?

I'm incredibly addicted. I've tried a lot of motorsports from cars, karts, MX, etc and nothing has compared to stand ups. Motorcycles on water...they've left me bored riding a bike most of the time these days.

I just started racing this summer and my freestyle hull is being built by an Australian company right now. Never experienced something that is so fun, difficult, a full body workout and mentally engaging. Definitely try one if you ever get the chance!

I've heard these things are a lot of fun, need to keep it on the gas to turn e/t/c. I've only ridden the sit down PWC's

Man, I can't stand those things. Boats generally come and go, but these things stay in the same area all day long going in circles. The noise they make is obnoxious to me, it's like having somebody on a loud motorcycle just going around your block over and over and over and over again. *sigh* rant over.

There's limitations where jet ski's can be used here, because most waterways have a maximum speed limit for marine craft. There's a few lakes that have these for hire, for 15 or 30 minutes at a time, but you do pay a premium for the privilege.

Would be a lot of fun to have a try though!
