Guide Sony As100 Chin Mount Test...need Some Feedback

Hey guys (and gals) just goofed around and chin mounted my Sony. Let me know what yall think of the view and give me some feedback (plus I almost caputred a super low speed crash...but they all got off their phones in time to make it through the intersection )

Thought you had finally perfected your side mount setup? How did you run the chin mount? I have a as100v too but I never use it on the helmet because of mounting it. I just use a drift ghost. I do like the quality of the sony camera though, it's too bad there isn't an easier system.

I like the side mount but I had some free time while I await my battery. With free time and extra parts...I thought I would fiddle around a bit to see what it would look like. With the chin mount my only requirement was that it didn't get in my field of vision and that it would give the viewer a more life-like riding experience...if they are 6" shorter than me anyway

I think it did good and it doesn't stick out much more than a gopro. "Use what you have son" as my dad would say!

I was more curious how it looked. I figured it would stick out too far. I use to use a chin mounted gopro and liked the look but I think I like the side mount angle best.

I like the chin position view, seems to work better on a naked bike. It does project out a long way with the Sony cam, and makes the helmet a little nose heavy which is why I prefer the side mount.
