Race and 2CV are two words I thought I would never hear together.

I went to college with Leigh Francis, aka Keith Lemon.
I used to play with David Batty, ex Leeds United and England footballer.
I'm convinced I have psychic abilities but so far have been unable to develop them. I also find the latter topic fascinating.
The first arrest I ever got at work, I brought them back. I was convinced I had a gift. Later turned out I was just lucky.
I've had many a strange experience out on the bike where afterwards I've thought, "if I'd have taken that overtake, I woulda hit that" (or similar).
Am also a great believer that our lives are mapped out for us, we just choose our paths but the end result will always be the same.
And finally...
My posts are way too long

So you can blame the fact you are not sitting on an island relaxing in the sun with a platter of wonderful food on your son...

 he has his moments.
What I failed to ellaborate on here was that he was kept in as he had jaundice. The good news is that he was fine and continues to be fit and healthy.
It will however make a comeback as a reminder at some point in his life - more than likely his Best Man's speech
It's a good story to see responses to actually. Personally whilst I am disappointed, there's sod all you can do about it and still believe it happened (as many things do if you believe so) for a reason. It could be something as random as this...
...at the time I worked in advertising in Graphics and Marketing as a Mac Artworker. 10 years later I'm working for the Ambulance Service as a Medic and have probably contributed to who knows how many people's lives by being there when they needed me. Suddenly 5M pails into insignificance at the side of human life.
I've since seen people with everything you could ever want die from things that have hit them out of nowhere. Strokes. Heart attacks without warning. Sudden cardiac arrests.
Life is so precious - material things and money are just items that make some people's lives easier (sometimes).
