I'm officially setup with a new camera (Drift HD 1080), my mic (Audio Technica) and everything else is rolling along.
I'm planning on doing recording every second or third day (although possibly night)
And yeah, anyone in the area wanna get together and cause some (mild) havoc?
Hit me up!
Facebook, email, Youtube or on here, all work!

I also have an Audio Technica, but I have a GoPro. Anyways, I'd be down to do some motovlogs together. I have wanted to start a crew kinda like how TheGardenSnake, Armenian, Fireguy, etc do their thing sometimes. Where in SoCal are you exactly?

Ahh, well we could meetup sometime but not that often. I'm in San Marcos. We could still set a meet up time and do a dual vlog. I would have posted more vids lately but my bike is being worked on at the moment. Should get it back in a couple days.

How about Saturday, July 5? I think an Ortega/De Luz loop would span SD/OC/IE for everyone. I can put up a GPX file. I like an early start. We can work on more details if there is interest in that, or work on a different date.

I'm sort of equidistant to all of you in Irvine. One of my favorite rides is down to Palomar, Mesa grande, and banner grade for pie.

That is a great route. I prefer Saturday rides, early starts, but I am flexible, I am just tossing out my druthers. How about Sat July 19, we can meet the Starbucks / Swallows Inn area in San Juan.

Are you thinking Ortega? I might be able to swing that. Never been down De Luz.

Start with Ortega. De Luz is not for everyone, it has sections that are tight, blind, narrow, a little rough and even gets stream overflow over it in the winter. I was fine on it with my S1000R loaner though. I would not normally bother to mention it but I know of more than one rider that does not care for it. My little GS is made for it.

Is it possible to do virtual drives of roads on google earth without having to manually click down the road?

I wish. There might be a way to do it. You can see some of it in the outro to my S1000R review video on my Youtube channel. I could upload some more raw footage too I suppose.

Entertaining vid. That road doesn't look that bad. Then again I've ridden cliff side roads in Greece so maybe my difficulty level judgement is a bit broader.

Why is there an image link option, but all URLs are blocked? Can't link a photo from my personal website (with zero ads).

Is Sat July 19 am Ortega/De Luz sounding good to anyone? I am sorry I have been PMing too many people at once and I have lost track of them, arg!

What time? I prefer to get up extra early to avoid traffic. Nothing worse than getting stuck behind slow moving vehicles in the twistiest parts of Ortega. I don't like passing over double yellows in blind corners.

Early is good, how about 8am? BTW, I can tell you are going to be waiting for me periodically. Just sayin'. We can call it a diversity vlog or something.
