So Why Do You Motovlog?

Hey everyone,

So, here is the question of the day. Why do you guys/gals motovlog? What your primary motivation? What got you into it?

I'll go first.

I've been riding for several years and it always was a venue for clearing my head and creative thought. So vlogging for me is about talking about stuff, that I generally don't have time for and getting that "thought process or general theme" out to a wider market.. not just my friends. I saw my first motovlog on youtube about two years ago.. and I remember thinking.. Yep, I gotta do that too.

I also love everything related to motorcycles, so for me- it prolongs the RIDE.. its like the ride never ends, cause you are editing, posting and commenting and then plan the next iteration.

cheers

A good topic to cover in your first vlog!

I vlog as a pseudo diary of my migration from UK to Switzerland, comparing and contrasting things, exploring the UK before I leave, and letting my friends and family see what I get up to over there.

Nice and you are right.. I will cover this on my next VLOG. BTW, nice channel I just SUB'd

I want to share the experience and what is like to be a french guy, on french road, in french traffic.
That's what I love about motovlogging, you can be on so many foreign roads with a funny guy as a guide.

Guys, THANK YOU to be here!

Nice bro. I will subscribe to your channel, especially if you are a pissed off French guy riding on French roads!!!

Well in my particular case. I am an American guy, on a Italian bike, on Malaysian roads- dodging potholes and crazy people on scooters..lol

Love my bike. I always end up chatting to shit to myself or everyone else. Or when im on a long slow ride ive gota mess around to cure the boredom. Plus i have a funny tale or two :-D

I just started doing it. im new to riding and fell in love with doing it. for years i just did normal vlogs but now im on a bike and its like i been doing it for a long time. so glad i found out about this.

Let's see, I'm socially awkward mainly because I never say what I'm thinking, most of the time I'd rather be quiet than say anything that goes against what is socially acceptable.
Watching motovloggers I realized they think and act exactly as I do in my mind so I said to myself, why not? It's like watching me say the things I would normally keep to myself. I identified myself with a few vloggers then I started doing it offline, while riding but without a camera. It felt great after getting past the "I look stupid" phase which lasted just a few minutes the first rides. I started enjoying it and it changed some aspects of my life and personality.
Even though I don't upload any videos in months (thanks, ridiculously stupid Internet co.), I have made hundreds of videos and have still a lot to go through.
It also gave me some confidence on speaking English. The problem I had with that is, I learned English by myself and never had anybody to speak to so I'm really awkward even if I know what I want to say, there is a huge difference between how it sounds on my mind and how it ends up sounding when I say it.
I still sound broken, damn!, on some videos not even I can figure out what I was trying to say but I'm still trying to improve.

TLDNR: I like doing it, it's my kind of crazyness, it helps me become a better person.
