so what do you talk about ?

I think some of the most successful motovloggers come up with a template they plan to follow and then execute it... but then again I don't know for sure because I'm not that successful of a motovlogger :p . Once did get some good advice from a big time motvlogger on it, though :o ... oh 10,000 subs, what a dream ~_~ ~.....

I got a list of topics that came to my mind. Sometimes my vlogs are motorcycle related, but most of the time they are about things that are of great interest to me.

Vlogging is not like giving a lecture, if you like to have notes ready, go for it; If you like to be spontaneous and roll with whatever comes to mind, do that.

Personally, I generally have an idea about what I am going to touch on and some of the contents, but I don't make any ready notes or stuff like that. My topics should only (and only) consist of riding and motorcycle related stuff, with a dash of cursing/swearing for some added flavor. :P

Indeed, I tried a "proper" vlog recently where you talk about something completely unrelated to the video and I just can't do it. I guess as I dislike that type of video anyway it makes sense that I couldn't do one of my own.

I'll stick to just pointing and saying "amazing" as I ride past all the lakes and mountains here.

AMAZING! Hehe. :P

I have tried something else that might be interesting. There's a beautiful 5 minute ascent of a mountain pass and I have tried to talk about my bike and vlogging history during a fast run of that ascent :p

That was a bit tricky!

I usually have a topic I'll think about doing and then just do it live.. So far I've tried to keep my topics motorcycle related, but I may stray into different subjects eventually.

The other day I had nothing to talk about but then it bucketed it down so decided to do a riding in horrible weather vlog. Need to get it edited really.

Normally I'll try and think of something beforehand. Most times I don't though, maybe when I get better it'll come more naturally and be easier but I'll admit it can be hard to find something.

I never have a pre-made topic. Whatever comes to mind I will talk about. Otherwise I just let people enjoy the scenery and my tomfoolery.

I've started playing mountain pass roulette!

"Eeny, meeny, miny, moe. To which mountain pass shall I go?"

Then I select a random mountain pass on GPS and upset some cows

Stuff comes up in life that I talk about. The last vlog I uploaded was taking the wife's car to do an oil change and walk the lot to look at the new 2015 mustangs.

Unless it is a specific competition i never plan a vlog or have one in mind. That usually means I don't vlog, but things happen or something I would like to talk about come up and I just go with the flow. Many of my recent vlogs have not been produced because more interesting things then happened.

I should trust my spoken English but I don't. So when I open my mouth to say something my perfectionist half holds me back. I love talking and there have been many occasions where I want to rant about something that just happened but either I feel like it's going to be incomplete or it's uninteresting to me (like people without helmets) and thing it's uninteresting in general.
I got pulled over for the first time last week and I wanted to talk about how police stops vary from country to country but I tried it 5 times and I still don't feel good about it.

iv only done one vlog so far but i intend to pick where im riding to and then do a little research about the area so as i ride thought i can talk about the land marks and areas apart form this it will just be rambling and rants. iv desided on more places im going to ride than topics

It's nice to have variety with vloggers. I'm can't stand it when people talk about a topic completely unrelated to the video for example, so the style you describe is much more interesting for me.

Do your own style and don;t try to copy others and you'll do well.
