Uploaded a new video today, as it was snowing outside :)
I only recently purchased the camera and still figuring out the editing software.

If anyone's got any suggestions for best render setting in sony vegas 12.
I tried exporting it in .avi format, the quality was spot on but the video was jerky at times. So ended up exporting in WMV (the quality isn't that great in my opinion) :(

Camera: drift hd (currently on 720p 60 fps...)

Thanks,
Matt.

Looks like fun. My main suggestion would be to tone down the music so that your engine is slightly louder than the tunes.

As for Vegas... I have vagas 11 and shoot in 720 and render as: Windows Media Video V11 (*.wmv) 6 Mbps HD 720-30p video

yeah at the start of February I will be more active, currently got several things going on at the same time :)

Snowed a lot in Cambridge then! :D I hope the bike didn't suffer too much from the falls. Try keeping the backing music between -5dB and -15dB otherwise it just becomes a music video :P

I liked the louder music.
I wear headphones so had no problem hearing the bike and as you're not talking .... :)

Not sure about the Sony Software, but does it let you sharpen the video before you export it? I've been dicking about with mine (Adobe Premiere) and my latest vid is the first one I've tried sharpening before the render.

Also - does it let you export video in H.264 format?

Will look at sharpening the footage and see if the h.264 format is available. Thanks ;)

Oh :) thanks, you too.

In Sony Vegas 11 I tend to use the Sony AVC/MVC option. I've never had problems with the video being jerky but it can look bad if you don't get rid of the interleaving. I set the Field Order to None (progressive scan) otherwise it can look a bit blurry.

Thanks for the advice! ;)

Sorry to hear about your crash...
