Short Clips With Action

What do you guys do with all your footage of something that happened quickly? Lets say a bird almost flew into you, thats not enough to make a whole video. I could make a montage video, but then do you save all birds almost flying into you and make a video themed around that? OR do you make a straight up "random stuff occurs" video, with tons of small clips?

Any input would be great as I'm a little lost of what works for Youtube.

Also happy holidays and lets all have a safe 2018!

Saving the clip until you have enough kamakasi birds on film would be awesome but that may take a few years to get enough footage to put a decent length video together. Probs best to make a montage of random things if you can

I think we are a little lost when it comes to YouTube. However, here is one thing to try.

Slow the footage of the bird down and have a music track similar to the song "I believe I can fly" playing. Fade into a tight shot of you sitting on the bike looking up as if you are dreaming what it would be like to fly. Nod knowingly in slow motion. Cut to a shot of you tearing arse. Next shot is a squashed bug on the front of you bike and play the intro to "Live and let die".

If the video is kept to about a minute or two then you might have something.

Just pitching here...

I have not had anything worth showing happening. So considering how rare it is, I'd just put it in the beginning or end of the next vlog, given the random thing is interesting enough.

Throw it onto a compilation.. That's what I do for short random stuff and idiotic drivers that make me get a curse fest going on.
