Shift_love - Hello From Texas!

shift_love

too many bikes, too little time
hows it going!
glad to find a community of vloggers for me to get advice on videos, tips and everything else.
I have lots of bikes, so i have tons of opportunities to do several different kinds of videos.

currently shooting with gopro 4 and using a vivitar mic setup.
so without further ado check out this video and feel free to give me some tips, pointers, and criticize the s**t out of it.

i would post links, but apparently i cant until i reach 20 posts

so look up "shift_love" on youtube if youd like to

also...channel trailers? do yall do those. mine isnt monetized since it uses copyrighted material (music)

Welcome.

Yes I have a channel trailer.

If your after non copyrighted music there is heaps on youtube. Most of what I use comes from Bass Rebels.

yea. ive seen a lot out there, but i was trying to drive traffic to my channel, through my trailer because of the song lol. i just dont see a whole lot of channel trailers out there on motovlog's, i do see featured videos, and intros, but not a whole lot of traielrs. either way, it was just comment...i wanted to post a link, but im not at 20 posts yet :)

Hiya, what bikes do you have, which is your favorite? :)
from smallest to largest...
1979 honda z50 project, 2014 race grom, 2007 crf150rb 2 wheel set ups 1 for minimotard, one for dirt, 2016 ktm rc390, 2006 cbr600rr race bike (full ohlins yadayadayada), 2014 ducati streetfighter 848

impossible question...which one is my favorite? no clue. i have a "main squeeze" though. its my ducati, but its probably because its really my only true street bike, the grom is full race for tmgp, the crf150rb gets tracked for tmgp but my wife rides it to on the street cause its street legal, the ktm is in the progress of becoming a "convertible" track/race/street bike, and the cbr sits on stands all the time, has no lights, and the pirelli slicks are far to expensive to ride it around on the street

so i guess it almost HAS to be the ducati, cause it gets most of my attention

Awesomeness, some cool bikes there. I'm a big fan of the KTM 390, although prefer the naked Duke. I used to have the big brother to your Ducati:

nice. i kinda wanted to go with the 1098, but then i figured id just keep myself a little bit less in trouble all the time. the rc390 is an unreal bike. it does exactly what you tell it to on track. im pretty impressed with it.

I found it to be a bit too much for the road, kinda wish the 848 had been an option at the time, think it makes for a better bike.... sometimes you don't need lots of cc :-)

I'm doing a trackday in July on my Guzzi and a mate is bringing his 390 Duke along too, am looking forward to seeing how he gets on with it. He wants to start doing motogymkhana with it at somepoint.

what kind of moto guzzi do you have that you can track? id be kinda worried about it, v7 racer?

thats a lovely looking bike! would definitely like to ride one someday
I've been very lucky to have owned some amazing bikes that should have been far far superior to my little V7 but none have had the character of this bike which is why I went the customisation route with it. It isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I like it! :-)

for me with the guzzi's, it was the shaft drive that turned me off of them, everything else looks bang on though. if only they had chains so i could feel like i was getting the most power to the ground that was capable...one day i will just have to get over my lust for performance oriented machines. i really want a bonneville one day, but after finally riding one i was unenthused...it was probably the measly power

I know what you mean, but the V7 was never a fast bike and even with a chain drive it would probs only gain 1 or 2 bhp. I love not having to adjust or clean or lube a chain, but it does make tyre changing a mission lol :D

I am hoping to get the new KTM 790 Duke R when it comes out next year which will give me my performance fix. I was quite underwhelmed by the Triumph, my old man has one. They produce a significant amount more power than the V7 though. My little bike is sub 50bhp, but is very playful and lots of fun.... plus can also do nearly 300miles on a tank of juice so munching miles is easy on it :-)

yup.... my V7 runs out of steam at around 100mph, the 390 iirc will hit similar but is much lighter and more flickable, plus has better tyres and suspension out the box.... my Guzzi has K-Tech front suspension and fully adjustable rears, lighter weight tubeless wheels, lightened frame and reduced weight in other places too. It handles great but is def no sportsbike! :D

i had my rc390 up to 111 downhill with wind behind me lol. only did it once, havent been able to hit that again. my limiter is raised too. speedo may be off though...the v7 is definitely a looker, sounds like you have dont the right stuff to yours, you have a link to track or twisties video?
