My question to everyone is: How much of your own vlogs to you watch. Do you just edit, upload and forget about it? I've probably watched all my vlogs about 5+ times each. Is that weird?

That's pretty much complete bullshit. I've had a fair number of videos that bore the shit out of me get a LOT of views. Several videos I was thinking of not even uploading were liked by quite a few people as well. Not liking your own stuff is actually completely normal and doesn't really mean anything.

Valid Point, I think most of videos are crap, but if i didn't have a slight interest in them,They would of never have been uploaded.

People will watch any old rubbish though

My family and friends know (my nephews even subscribe to my channel). Nobody at work does, but that's because nobody has asked about the camera - I don't feel a burning need to shout about it, but would be happy for them to be watching.

For what it's worth, that wasn't meant to be as harsh as it comes across. Ask any real artist when their work is done. Most of them will tell you that a painting is never finished, a photo is never perfect, etc. The same goes for us and our videos. I personally am never really satisfied with a video, and I've posted a LOT of things that I wouldn't watch myself, but that's mostly because not only was I present when I said it and did it all originally, but I've also seen the whole video atleast 5 times before it makes it to anyone elses computer.

Interesting topic.

My vlog is available to most anyone...friends and family included. I even occasionally post on FB but I try not to be too spammy about it.

As for my own videos, yes I find all of them interesting and have watched them numerous times, usually to annotate anything which isn't clear to me on later viewing. I also watch to see, after a bit, if they make me laugh after the 'newness' of the video has worn-off in my memory.

But, I also watch the vlogs of others. I just enjoy the art form. Mostly, I hate the sound of my own voice but I'm working on my delivery and projection (for signal/noise reasons). I hate when I misspeak!

We're probably our own worst critics, eh?
