Seattle/Tacoma area riders?

Any riders from around the Seattle or Tacoma areas? I got orders for Fort Lewis the other day and have been researching the area to find out if it is bike friendly. It seems like it is, if you can tolerate mist/rain. I am shipping there on August 26, and will most likely being buying a bike shortly after that.

It is excellent riding. Ride up Hurricane Ridge, the islands, the cascade loop, windy ridge...this is just the West Side. I think you like it.

Congrats. You will be moving to a beautiful area. There are tons of great roads, lots of twisties and beautiful scenary. It does rain a bit but other then that its wonderful. I live about 2 hours from where you are going
