Scheduling Videos

I've found the bigger channels to be pretty tedious recently, except for AB of course.

People like our very own AndyManCam are far more interesting to follow these days.
 
Personally I like constancy and I try to upload an one video per week. But also I don't like to spend couple of days in a row for editing, just to make sure my subscribers will get a video in a right time. In this case what I do is I edit video during the week and upload it on YouTube using schedule.

And my subs get the video while I'm riding and recording another one for them :)
 
That's what I do teroff. I have two scheduled over the course of the next few weeks, I'm a bit ahead of schedule XD and while it is tempting to release them early (one of them's gonna have a few funnies) I like to keep uploads fairly consistent. I'll typically upload once every 3 or 4 days. That's not to say I don't have times where I won't upload for a good week though.
 
I try to record, edit and schedule all my videos on the weekend for the week. I'm not sure this is the best method as it's not very "fresh".
 
I post on Wednesday so I try to have one in the pipe by Tuesday. I had several lined up but due to the heat and other issues, like me being lazy, I'm down to the wire right now.
 
I believe u can only schedule one vid at a time? i went away for a few weeks this summer and i could only schedule one unfortunately.

but i figured out how to release them on the phone xD
 
You can do scheduled release on any number of videos now. At one time, I had 3 of them set to publish on various dates.
 
I'm like a dog on heat when it comes to releasing content. I always say I'm going to wait, but I just release it because I'm too excited.
 
I've used the schedule feature in my last couple only because of the shitty internet speeds we suffer from. When it takes 2-3 hours to upload a vid I can't be assed waiting.

Now to get people to watch them, that's a different challenge.
 
Normally record and edit it in the weekend and upload it mondaymorning before i go to work.
I try to keep it as fresh as possible, because sometimes i talk about thing happening then and now, which might not be interesting anymore a week or more later.

And this means sometimes i skip a week, shit happens ;)

I don't do as many topic vids anymore for this reason. Current events become not-so-current pretty fast these days. I did one last week, but I knew I'd be releasing it the next day. I do holiday updates sometimes, too, but they will be outdated the day after the holiday, so there's always that to consider. Also, due to shoddy/antsy reporting on the part of the media, the "facts" of any given case may not be so factual in a couple of days, either.
