Hey folks! Blame @Sharktank Shar but after seeing the footage of the 360 on his Road Glide I have been bitten by the bug!

So I am adding a Gear360 to the arsenal. I have seen other videos where the camera was blocked by the rider a good bit and some where the camera appeared to be up on a pole on the bike. Neither seem that great.

I am thinking of mounting it just above the throttle area and using it to capture footage in places like between tall buildings, tall woods, maybe short clips on group rides when the rear Gopro is not up on the Tourpak, and recording while in narrow canyon/valley like areas.

Anyone have any other ideas they think would make for interesting footage/mounts?

I don't know how big really is, but could it be mounted to your helmet top? since is a 360 cam you need a clear point to capture all surroundings

cool, I've been toying with the idea of a 360 camera, but I vary rarely use a second camera so have resisted so far as I don't know how much use I'd get from one! :-) Really looking forward to seeing your footage from it though, I think they are fantastic tech!

Your ride through Cheddar Gorge is some Place a short 360 clip would be cool.

I nearly bit the bullet on the GoPro Fusion as it has the overcapture app for editing it which I really liked the idea of, it also hided the mount so it looks like the camera is following you while floating behind you.... but it is stupidly expensive and I am still sulking regarding GoPro and their support (lack of) to motovloggers.

How about you place it on your shoulder with one of the many gopro mounting solutions :). Unfortunately the only way to have unobstructed view is to place it on top of your helmet, but the view point is way too high.
