What is the best product for rust removal. My shifter is getting rusty do to being kept outdoors. Tarp failed me. =[

Acf50 is the best stuff out there, but beware you have to cover all rubber, brakes disks etc, because this stuff is extremley slippy. forms a film around everything. so make sure you mask off the pedal part of your shifter before using it.

ACF50 won't remove rust, it'll just prevent it. It is awesome, just not in the removal role!

you can try crunched up kitchen foil and autoglym polish, the foil shouldn't scratch the chrome as it is softer, worked a treat on some chrome silencers I had.
