Not sure if I'm the only one that tells others about this or not. However, if it's getting hot outside or really cold for that matter watch out for the stripping on the roads. You'll notice when it's either hot or really cold you'll have very little traction.

Ride safe guys!

Never seen anyone strip at the side of the road on a cold day.

Tar snakes are a a mother#$%# in the rain. I have a recording of me losing traction and freaking out. (Also when it's really hot)

Don't get the issue of them melting round here :)

It's when there's a little join in the tarmac that's a pain, and the skinnier the wheels, the worse it pulls you.

So many patches in the road nowadays that we have to try and avoid the joins. Can't believe there isn't a plasterers-type solution (ie the metal strip placed between plaster boards before you plaster across all of it) so that the join becomes hidden

there's a beautiful road here, a couple of big corners, but mostly little curves and small sweepers. giant cliff overlooking view of awesome mountains and there's even a quaint little restaurant at the top. the road snakes are so bad and plentiful that i can't go over 30mph without tracking off the road. so disappointing.

They have them in Switzerland due to the ice cracking the roads, but they use a better mix than in the UK and it doesn't seem to cause traction issues.

In the UK I get horrible tram-lining on a lot of the poor condition roads when filtering which is dangerous.

Tramlines don't seem so bad on the DV, but the bloody cats-eyes heading out towards Elland Road are like riding over small rocks, properly throw you about.

They're not actual tram-lines, but grooves in the road (normally cracks) that cause a tram-lining effect.

I know what you meant, my CG with its skinny tyres was terrible for it.
