First Ride. Named "Lemonade," because it was a cheap Chinese POS and was a total lemon... but I was broke and had to make it work. I put 2300 miles on this thing in 4 months, which is not easy when your top speed on flat ground is like 40, and uphill is like 15 or 20... and there are a lot of hills around here. It was stolen once, but I chased the punks down and got it back. It was sold for $200 less than I bought it for. Win.
(always fixing something...)
Then came Shamu, my 2009 Ninja 250R. Over 12,000 in 9 months. It was a budding relationship that was tragically and prematurely cut down in its prime.
The insurance money didn't dig me out of the whole and gap insurance was a joke. So, I wouldn't have been riding this past year if it wasn't for the motovlog community. I love you guys, by the way. Here's my current ride. I love this thing. It can do it all. Track, dirt, street, touring, shortcuts, twisties, etc.
