He just doesn't know better tbh before i got road legal and bought a helmet i used to ride around my area on offroad bikes with no lid or gear, looking back now i know it's a fking stupid thing to do but i just dident know better and if it wasn't uk law to ware a helmet i probably wouldn't have.

I am glad it is uk law and i did get one even thou its only cheap its so much better then no lid.

btw i bet bottom dollar that bike is registered and does not have a plate as it is stolen.

By the looks of it the moped was new. I don't know if you can see in the footage but the rear light still has the manufacturers protective film over it.

Don't think anyone would keep those 'things' on longer than they have to!

Its not a matter of whether or not he knows better, for goodness sake, its common sense!

I seriously wouldn't go around saying you did stuff like that, Toysoldier. You've got a bad enough reputation as it is.

There is absolutely no defense for his actions, would you say he didn't know better when he rode at high speed down the footpath? What would've happened if someone walked out their front door and not checked the footpath for oncoming motorcyclists?
Not knowing better would NEVER stand up in court.

'Sorry I murdered that woman your honour, I didn't know any better'

i never said its a defence just saying he doesn't know better.

Do you wear a helmet when riding a push bike i never did so when i was offered ago on a motorbike for the first time i just said yes got on it and off i was.

my reputation for being the p***k that cant spell is already there so no point worrying about reputation any more.

I wore one whenever I was doing any hardcore mountainbiking, and the -very- first thing I thought when I was offered my first ride on a motorcycle was 'who has a helmet I can borrow for a few minutes?'
