One thing whats getting on my freakin tits! ..... Not literally ;)
Basicly ever since a friend saw & heard the sound of wheels spinning he won't stop doing it, thinking it's cool, He's bloody 20!

He always pulls in his rear brake on purpose to lock his rear wheel up to hear the screach it makes.

When I used to ride with him, I remember stopping in a cue of trafflic leading onto a massive roundabout and he came up behind me way too fast and done that. I can safely say I nearly shit myself thinking I was about to be piled into by another car. The obvious flat spots across his tyre and the massive split he's got in it now & the fact his rear brake barely works now because the pads are nearly bare metal, he's continueing.

I warned him about it and he said he'd stop, while getting out off of a cage earlier with a family member to go fishing, he locked his rear wheel up coming up behind us scaring the living shit out of us.

Do any of you have any twat friends like this?
Best way to continue?, Already told him that he's a liability waiting to happen.

yeah I've had that, either skids, or stoppies... following my mate he slows down coming to a give way, I expect him to slow, look, then keep going. Nope he slams on the front and does a stoppie, I don't mind that stuff for the fun of it, but only when safe

I don't mind aslong as it's not on the road, Private land then it's his own fault for his mistakes & can't hurt other people around him ( unless your extremely unlucky to be near him )

Doing this will get him killed.

I warned him several times but after a few lucky crashes he's had previously with him walking away with no damage done to him just the bike, he thinks he's invincible, took me more than 2-3 years to get him to wear atleast some gear. The other day he mentioned about he'd love it if there was a law for not having to wear helmets, Stopped him dead in his tracks. Although the last 2 days he's wore the leathers I sold him.

I'd sit him down and show him videos of horrific bike accidents :P get his attention! then tell him he either stops or doesnt ride with me again! I locked up the back wheel once by accident and it scared the shit out of me! I sat there thinking "im going sideways here, thats not right" then nearly highsided when i let go!

To be honest i've done all that before, and it's done nothing. I only ever locked my wheel up once when I was turning a corner which luckily it drifted round but scared the shit out of me aswell lol. I was too busy thinking oh sh..

Atleast you didn't high side, always a bonus lol! : )

One of my mates is similar, but rides a 125. He drink rides, follows car inches away, rides up paths. Wears no gear. He's crashed 5 times whilst drunk. Ive tried everything I think I can, including ordering him taxis on 2 occasion when I know he's at the pub, which he's then declines and ridden home. At the end of the day, he's an adult, and trying his best to kill himself is his foolish choice. If you feel theres nothing more you can do, Keep out of his way and hope luck stays on his side.

a friend did it to me in a car, and hit my bike, we came to blows over it, we made up, but he was an idiot for doing it

20 odd years ago now

He was a great mate, till he decided to come to mine and cause s... a couple minutes ago and left revving his scooters nuts off on a old people estate ( not the proper term obviously ;P ), but hopefully luck stays with him, if not he's royaly f......

Three of my mates from my college tutor like to race about in their cars now and then, have been shit scared in the back of their little 1.2s when they are being prats! Mostly avoid getting lifts with certain people now but I have been in a car before where the driver thought it would be cool to pull a hand brake turn in the middle of a country lane... WITH SOMBODY BEHIND. He didnt tell us, just did it and it went wrong! The car behind was inches away from smashing right into me on the right hand back seat. Fooling around on the road is just stupid and especially irresponsible when you have passengers/people around.

I hate to say it but it sounds like you friend will have to learn the hard way. One of mine did have a big accident, he flipped his car but miraculously all 3 people inside escaped unharmed! Like your friend on his bike, this guy hasn't learnt his lesson because he didn't get hurt, only the other day he was desperatally trying to race somebody and throwing safety completely aside by over taking on blind corners and revving up his little clio before dumping the clutch at traffic lights to spin his wheels...

I have seen a couple of pricks get public embarrassment when messing around. One guy at college always likes to wheel spin out of a side road onto the main road when he leaves. A couple of months back he tried this, with hundreds of people around, only for it to result in a massive rattle and bang! The turning was on a hill and with his cars gearbox/clutch completely screwed, all he could do was roll back down the hill to a safe place with EVERYBODY laughing at him.

I avoid lifts with anyone my age like the plague. As much as we like to deny it, a young drivers make mistakes, and sometimes to stupid stuff like you've said about. I like my life in my hands, won't even get in the car with my best mate because I don't trust his driving.
