Rear Brake Pad Change On Gsx 1250 Fa

Guys 'n'n Gals,

anybody been able to change the rear brake pads on the GSX 1250 with the stock silencer can still in place ?

i am loathe to remove this if i dont have too.... any tips or advice on this much appreciated.
