So do you post videos of you Screaming at car drivers that are on there phones or doing something wrong.
Do you do it all the time filming or not.

I would like to bring up this topic because I feel a lot of Motovlogers are forgetting, Two wrongs don't make a right, Road Rage is dangerous and unhealthy, and taking your eyes and concentration off the road to shout at a cager for any reason puts your and others safety at risk.

In certain situations I can understand, but as Rage Vlogs are becoming more popular, I think people are doing it unnecessarily for the sake of views.

I would never promote harmful or dangerous behavior for the sake of Youtube or Views, and If I saw a phone user or dangerous act, I avoid them, tell them when we are stationary, and in a calm manner (If I Can)

Situation that is Unnecessary, and became Dangerous

Situation that was justified

And a situation where it started poor, but redeemed himself with his attatude

Lastly remember No one Is too good on the road, And your priority is to keep yourself safe by looking out for others, not to teach people how to Drive. But I can understand why dickheads on phone cause people to go over 9000.

Road rage is an interesting concept, and the one phrase covers a multitude of actions and reactions. These include people who rage because they are impatient and are demanding to get past through to understandable reactions to the bad actions of others that were putting you at risk. In the middle are the times when you are trying to get someone to stop putting you and others at risk.

As such, road rage is a bad terminology to use to cover all examples. It seems it is a catch all for any and every time someone is conversing with someone else while on the roads about their capability as a driver or rider.

but any action on the road that is unfriendly and negative due to any reason is classed as road rage. Just because we imagine it to be the BMW Middle aged guy swearing at the the old granny doesn't mean others aren't guilty of it, when TheDroid swears and gets in the faces of drivers with his cards and stick, he's just got road rage. Just because he knows the highway code to a T, doesn't mean you can show aggression to other drivers, (I'm the form of verbal abuse)

I won't lie, I rage a lot.

I'm just hot headed, I rage to begin with and then I calm down and think about the situation.

I think it's all about the country where you ride :D.
In France, Rage is like a national sport, specially in the south.
We avoid to be physical, but we love all the useless raging stuff.

And yes, I rage a lot too.

I'm not judging just want to get people talking about if :D

Throughout the summer I had more problems out of Harley riders , you know the type. I got my Harley because I don't feel cool anymore, now every weekend I ride it with my village peoples outfit on. Talk about how badass I am and how I'm a real biker 1%.

I'm not hating on you if you ride a Harley but we all know the type I'm talking about .

They will Fuck with you, try to squeeze you off the road, ever try passing one of them on a two lane road? Itll make you see red.

There's two types
the kind Ive listed above (like my coworker)

And the guy that bought a Harley because that's what he wanted and respects everybody else outside of the normal ribbing

Have I raged At the cage, sure. But when people nearly wreck you (purposely or because of ignorance) that's What I reall rage about, they know better . Whether it's a weekend warrior or a guy on a (specific sport bike , while wearing a wIve beater and flip flops here )

I think most of us have shaken a head at a texter and muttered an opinion as to whether their licence cane from a cornflakes box...

I generally only sound my horn if I think they haven't seen me, or in one case where a woman had seen me but tried squeezing in to my lane anyway...

Road rage where people feel intimidated shouldn't happen, it's not big or clever to bully someone.

That's pretty much how I feel :P Horns are there to tell people that your there. I feel like You should be seen on the road and only heard if your not seen

Yeh, i try not too, its usually males that fuck me off when they do it, old people and women i try not to do it all too.

Well, yes and no. You have your eyes, horn and anticipation on your side. Where you can rev you can beep. Better still, just keep out their way until the be t lights and put their window through. Ok, maybe not the last bit.

My main message is people try to educate road users, but since when was shouting at someone the best way to teach them. Maybe a kid, but even now experts are saying, If you use calm techniques a child is far better to understand

When I was taking my cage driving lessons , the instructor (who is a neighbor and friend of mine) jokingly told me not to rage all the time when someone does something stupid. Something stupid happens every half a mile down here and every 1/8 of a mile in villages.

I wouldn't classify it as rage. It's more like frustration that sounds like rage. Road rage is , at best , going to make you make more mistakes while looking like a douche and that is not something anyone wants.

I see you are speaking about being heard. That's overrated. I am riding the past 2 weeks without a horn and the stock exhaust (110 cc bike). I am completely invisible (instead of partly invisible) yet there is no difference in the way people react when they see me. If someone decides to do something really stupid , a loud bike or horn is not going to stop them.

if my life is in danger because of someone else... I rage
If i am stuck behind an old lady doing 20 below the speed limit, i just let it pass.

Choose your battles

There's a difference between being stupid and being dangerous. Both need to be educated.

The stupid and ignorant haven't worked out why their actions were stupid and ignorant and potentially dangerous. Having a word, or shouting, could lead to a few immediate reactions: immediate riposte, apology, silence, ignoring you, amongst others. But they may well take on board what they have done, think about it at a later time, and may become a better driver.

The dangerous know that what they are doing is bad and putting people in danger, and they don't give two hoots. I keep away from them in most instances. I say most, because sometimes winding them up in the right situation can be a lot of fun.

It reminds me of my football. People tell me to stop shouting at them. Now, I'm playing with people who have played the game for 30 or 40 years, and they have still not learnt some of the basics. Doing the wrong things badly requires someone to understand they are doing the wrong bloody things in the first place.

Probably because every one of their coaches or playing buddies thought that it was best to be nice and say "unlucky mate, better luck next time" instilled the thought processes in these people they were doing the right things. When they are not. And in a fast-paced football game, I don't have the time to take them by the hand and quietly and nicely tell them that they are doing the wrong fecking thing!

Doing the right things badly means you just need more practice, but at least you were trying to do the right thing. That gets applause and encouragement.

Same on the road.
