R6 thoughts

Hey guys,

Finally back in the frame of the being on two wheels, looking to buy in around a month or so. I'm interested in the 01-04 R6's (as well as the good old CBR's, I didn't have enough time with mine in the UK).

Anyways I would like to know peoples thoughts, things to look out for, opinions on reliability, known issues etc with those years. Of course I'll be doing my own research but the more info the better.

Yamaha and Honda are both epic with reliability. Haven't heard of any particular issues/recalls for those years. Depends a lot on ownership and care, you know? Best of luck and good to have you back on two soon!

I own an 04 R6 (although i cant ride it yet) , it is truly a beautiful machine. 7Hunted has one, you could ask him about it ?
