At one point Ranger Hardin and I had ice form in our moustaches
19°F was insane. I hiked about 1.5 miles one way over steep terrain in full riding gear (minus the helmet). The cold takes a lot out of a body for sure.

Thanks! I imagine the Ranger had a good time and a story to tell, "Hey guys, you won't believe this biker showed up for the hike this morning! Full gear no less!"

We did witness a van roll into a tree as we got back to the vehicles but I edited that out. No one was hurt other than the kid's pride that knocked out of gear.
