On Thursday 11th September 2014 a 14 year old boy set fire to a dogs home in Manchester killing around 60 dogs. Thankfully around 150 of the dogs at the kennels were rescued and have since been rehomed thanks to dog lovers who risked their lives to run into the building. 30 Fire Fighters were on scene as hundreds of locals offered homes, blankets, and food to the affected dogs.
