Police Vlogging

So I've been wanting to ask everyone here if they have ever seen a police officer post a vlogging video?! Cause I am currently in school in Dallas to become a police officer. My end goal is US Marshall but thats another topic! So I was thinking once I get out of schooling and become a patrol officer and do what I need to do to become a motorcycle patrol officer, I wanna wear my Go-Pro and make vlogs . I wonder if that's allowed?? Mmmmmm I do know they wear cameras (well some officers do) for protection and what not.

Thanks man! I'm excited to protect and serve! I'll totally ask my supervisor heck you never know he might be like HELLZ YEAH! But it would be interesting to see a police officer doing their duty while riding and talking to us

I would think it wouldn't be allowed just because they wouldn't want something you said or did to reflect poorly on the station. Even if it were something taken out of context.

Typical ~_~ . Life on the job and personal life should totally be two separate things ... but then again, here in the U.S., SCOTUS decided that corporations are people (go figure ), so I guess corporations can have feelings hurt, too >_> .....

Golly gee I hope so too! It be a big twist in the motovlogging community! And I guess while we are on topic with police officers and this is a motorcycle community.... Do any of you guys know if they allow you to use your own bike for patrolling? Probably not because of safety concerns and what not. But heck it would be cool seeing a BMW S1000 patrolling the streets! And no I do not have a S1000 (yet)
