Photoshop features in Vegas?

Anyone use photoshop for stills and vegas for video?

I'm looking to replicate the "Shadows and Highlights" level adjustments in photoshop within vegas. The level adjustments within vegas seem similar but are named differently...

Do you have Photoshop? I have Photoshop/Lightroom CC, and I didn't actually realise until a few weeks ago, that you can actually edit video in it. The Adobe site has some basic tutorials about editing videos in it... I think it's just basic colour correction etc, but if that's what you want, it might work for you!

I did notice that! I forget what my gripe with it was but I ended up finding a thread about this using color curves in Vegas. The footage was from this video. You can see how blown out the initial in car footage is then compared to the footage in the race car, the front view has much better highlighting...

Yeah there's a huge difference! If only cameras could be as sensitive as our eyes! :'(
