Hi guys.

Just to quickly rant about the 'Petrol strikes' One thing, car drivers are STUPID, my town (lutterworth) last night at about 3pm was sold out of all petrol because all the cars went and filled up their tanks because they were scared of a strike.
This then left me in a shit spot.
I was almost empty and i couldnt get to the big city to fill up!
So just to say does anyone else agree that this strike and people to fill up because their scared are silly?
Plus the petrol station only will serve £25 of petrol because of that, GOOD i say.

Considering my bike only fills up to £16 :P HAHAHA.

Cheers!
Jack

Same problem here, filled the car up last night as wife has to do a round trip of 400+ miles tomorrow but trying to find a petrol station with petrol was a joke. And this morning on my ride in I seriously need to top up but the two stations I say that had petrol had lines of cars so long backed out of the stations they were causing major/dangerous traffic jams.

Theres a petrol station across the road from where I work. All day yesterday there were car horns going from people cutting in front of others.

Absolutely ridiculous. Someone at work just said about 2 grown men fighting over getting petrol.

I was a litre into my reserve last night, desperately needing petrol on my way home. Absolutely everywhere sold out, had to travel really far out to a massively expensive petrol station that was still queueing for ages!

There isn't going to be any problem with petrol. People just panic like sheep, again.

Its all a government ploy to make people spend cash they don't have on fuel they may not even need yet. The strikes are called off for now, so the petrol tankers will be able to catch up with demand now. ALL garages 10 miles of me are sold out now.. Im glad that i filled mine up last week, some people are complete sheep. Its all the governments fault telling road users to fill up and causing a panic..

I'm going to go and try to get some petrol later and I hope people round here are less gullible and sheep like (fat chance).

I've found a lot of places still have Super Unleaded, because they only want to pay supermarket prices and not top whack - which incidentally has also been hiked up by at least 10p per litre because the herd of cock-fags are willing to pay it!

I had a rant about it on my blog: http://nastyevilninja.wordpress.com/2012/03/29/panic-buying-petrol/

Poor truckers only getting paid three times what I get... Government causing panic buying so they can say we're not in a double dip recession (because this quarter we've already spent hundreds of millions in fuel tax to line their pockets)...

Why aren't we rioting? :?

Oh yeah - because we can't afford to buy -ing petrol bombs!!!

Guy in front of me spent £160 on diesel, god knows how many jerry cans he filled!

i did not know about the petrol strike i went out last night and my 6 closest stations did not have petrol.

i finally found a station that only had super so filled up took about a hour in the cue to get some as well.

But she was decanting petrol in the kitchen WHILE THE COOKER WAS ON!!!
Common sense should have be used there!

I agree pretty stupid

there is not going to be a strike over easter.

Stupid for going out and buying loads of fuel, stupid for pouring it in a kitchen with cooker going.

The whole thing is stupid.

There's no need to go get loads of fuel. I'm really surprised that so many people have been going and hoarding it. I didn't know there were that many daft sheep around in this country.

+1
i NEEDED petrol last night as i was in the red with 30 miles to do today, and 150+ tomorrow, and it took me 45 mins to queue to get petrol, but the standard of driving was terrible, people were blocking roundabouts, and those who couldnt get out went the wrong way round the roundabout to get out.
I really wish I had my camera!

I have to go pick my sister up from the station in Colchester this evening in the car, i'm on the red and there is literally no diesel going in Sudbury, i'm going to drive and keep my fingers crossed!!

I'm gonna try sudbury, if not there's one on the bergholt road!

I found a station with fuel, there were queues but i just filtered lol... their fault for buying a car.

Followed a friend around my town after work last night as he didn't think he was going to get home on the petrol he had. Figured that if we couldn't find him any, I'd let him siphon some out of mine. Even at that time of night, when we eventually found a station with fuel, there was every pump filled with cars. I'm guessing there's going to be loads of jerrycans filled with diluted petrol at car-boot sales across the country today and tomorrow!

I cancelled a ride-out yesterday because of this, didn't really need the pain of having to find petrol and queue for it twice in once day. Panic buying... for nothing. Show's you the power of the media, and the stupidity of the government and... us! (current company not included :P )
