Started up a hobby recently and decided to log some of the ones I've completed here.

Here is my lathe and tools I use... I must have something for the UK because not only does my motorcycle come from there but also my Lathe tools.
All the dark wood handle tools are Crown tools made in sheffield england. wherever that is!

Okay a couple new pics of seam rippers are up. I'm a little disappointed on how they turned out, but I was rushed for time. The wood is actually purple heart but because I turned it down and finished it all in one night, it didn't properly have time to be exposed to air and a chance to turn purple. My next Purple heart project will be a stiletto and that one I will turn down to the desired size and then air it out. Hopefully it'll bring out the purple.

It's a hobby but I do take orders and sell them. Laser Engravers run around $3,000+ so that's out of the question. I was researching tonight and if I needed to get a pen engraved I would have to send it out to a company and have them engrave it for me. What I heard is it costs around $5 per pen, not including shipping.

So if anyone wanted an engraved pen I'd have to see what I can find out about it, but if not then it's a simple procedure to make something for someone.

I do have a few orders for people right now, but other than that I've made most of my stuff for fun.

I believe right now I have 4 pens that need to be made for people, Actually 3 pens and 1 Stiletto.

This is cool man, well done.

Do you use the lathe for the non-wood pens?

Yep, everything I make is on that lathe, the only difference would be the type of tools.

Wood pens I'd use my roughing gouge for most of it.
Acrylics I'd start with a roughing gouge and then switch to a skew. Acrylics are known to break so skews are much more gentle on it.
Tru-Stones (which I haven't made any yet) would be made with my carbide cutting tool, which in the pic is the very left one.

How much for this one shipped to Gold Coast Australia

International shipping isn't something I have done, but I will look into it and let you know

Those look awesome. I definitely would be interested in the pricing details on some of them if it's possible.

I haven't laid out any specific pricing model,I usually just price as I go. All depends on the pen and the blank.

I'd be interested in knowing about either of the two that MrCodajastal posted above

Sorry sorry, with thanksgiving and stuff I was pretty busy and I haven't been able to check for my messages on the forum at work because tapatalk was broken. Haven't checked if it still is. I'll be able to find out soon, I don't really know which the best/cheapest carrier is for overseas.

That carbon fiber one looks amazing to me. I have a weakness for carbon fiber though.

Very good looking pens. Something that no one would be ashamed to whip out.
