Congratulations fellas.
Curious if you plan on using com units so that you can be on the same page while riding/vlogging?
My one suggestion would be to get an external mic for those moments when not riding the bikes such as your beginning segment. A good shotgun mic will pic you up way better or record secondary audio with 2 lav mics and a dedicate4d recorder such as a zoom.
Depending on what you're using to record off-bike stuff, you may want to go with a dual-channel wireless mic setup, something like a Rode Wireless Go 2. At least, I think that's what it's called. 2 mics, one receiver, plugs into your camera. I am considering buying one of these for my off-bike stuff since the mics on the GoPro Hero 9 in the Media Mod is directional and I'm always moving the camera around [thus, the volume goes up and down].

Yeah I had seen these (thanks for that) but I could be more tempted to buy an external audio recorder like a Tascam or zoom, fit with stereo breakout cable for whenever it is the two of us, and then at least we have an external audio recorder as well incase I want better audio for on-the-bike footage (down the line). Rode set up is 3x the price.
Thanks
John
Well done, I know my first few were no where near that well made. You are really starting off right.
Great first vlog chaps, and interesting to hear about some of the issues, and positives of the various HD bikes
