Nice but I'd get it under 10 seconds and if the song isn't yours or copyright free, you may find the music being blocked on mobiles or some countries

Its not copyright, I got it from a non copyright source (the owner) lol, and its monetized too so no issues with youtube so far. I tried to get it under 10 seconds. But to make the effect I wanted it took a tad longer.

That's cool but you may find people moan about the length if your channel gets bigger.

Same thing gets said by most. I used to have an intro of 11 seconds and people moaned.
As far as I can tell, the big boys have nothing more than a near splash page

I think the only exception to that is Do it with Dan, but I skip his intro and it annoys me every time... in fact I've just unsubscribed after thinking about it

Yeah, you should think that people are there to watch your new video, not the intro they already know. I'd do it shorter. Apart from that, it's cool!

It's great as a one off, but how do you think people would feel having to watch the same long clip over and over?
If you can watch it 30 times in a row and not hate it then it should be good to go.

Nice intro, but too long. People don't appreciate long intros because it's going to be on EVERY one of your videos; Not everyone has huge data or Internet plan to stream a 20 sec intro; People have short attention span and get annoyed easily. So it's not about you or your intro. The sweet-spot (to me) is 3-5 sec. It doesn't need to be long because it's going to be on every one of your videos. Same goes for outtro. Good luck in your next attempt!

personally, i'd use one part of the other. I wouldn't try to use them like that. Maybe you can overlay the smoke and title over the first part. It's just too long and will turn some people off. 5-10 seconds is the maximum for intros. It might also help if you lead into with an introduction, that would make it seem less lengthy. If you don't want to do any of those things, just go enjoy yourself. If you're proud of it, use it!
