Yes to wearing earplugs in general.

It's not so crucial if you riding in town or any riding that doesn't involve maintaining high speed for long periods.

If I can remember to put them on it will be good lol. But my hearing has gotten worse over the years. It’s not from the bike but wind. It’s important to keep your hearing well over time.

I just use standard foam earplugs
I find its not 100% necessary for city riding (where I imagine most motovlogging happens) but for long highway rides they're a must.

Do both. You get motorcycle specific ear protection, that only blocks out windnoise. I've used the NoNoise ear plugs and listened to a soft podcast.

You also get ear plugs (look like ear protection) but they have speakers built in and connect to a 3.5mm jack, so can be connected to most Cardo's.
