Don't wannabe
Youtube has made a lot of changes over the years, most have been frowned upon, by users. Many also by creators. It is clear that their dominance on the streaming world is not going to end any time soon, but...
With youtube lowering the bitrate for lower, more manageable resolutions, messing up the user interface more and more, unsubscribing people without them knowing, losing comments in to some black holes, and many other irritating improvements, one has to ask. Has any of you thought about backing the channel up to another platform?
With the decentralization and self hosting movement being more popular than ever, Peertube seems quite tempting, but not quite in my budget to set more servers and proper backup infrastructure up.
