Hi all, SouthernFried here. Followed the Motovlogging community for a while now and had the bug for riding since I was a child. My current CBT ran out about a year or so ago and I am saving up to do a full course next year so I can ride my Kawasaki 454 legally on the road.

I got given the Kwaka by a friend this summer, it needs a full re-lube, carb tune and quite a few aesthetic changes that I intend on completing. I have a YT channel (with the same avatar) which I will be using to document the process starting "hopefully" early next year. Unfortunately, lack of employment has hindered the plan taking off this summer. Let's hope the New Year brings more prosperity.

I hope to make lots of new friends here as I have already in the motovlog community and entertain you with my attempt at getting my bike back on the road.

Ride safe everyone.

Hi and hello. :) Sounds to me like an interesting project and look forward to 'progress reports'.

Hope it goes well for you.

HAHA Love the Avatar, Channel name, etc. LOLOL
REALLY looking forward to seeing some build Vids/Pics.

Ahhh the 454, Kwakas answer to the Virago 550. I am biast on the Kawa, my 1st bike was a 1979 Z250B (had4 total), still got Kwakas in the garage (old+new).
That 'Drive-chain' rattle when cold, you gotta love that Kawasaki engineering!! lol

Welcome again.

Thanks dude. Yeah I do love her, what is even better is she was free. Poor girl been sitting in storage since 1999 so she needs some overdue TLC. The Ltd Ed were belt driven so no rattling chain for me.
