Funny No Clutch No Brakes No Problem

Turning Wrenches
While waiting for my gaskets for the '78 GS1000, I decided to try and start up my 1983 V65 Magna. 1100cc v4 shaft driven bike with 6 gears! one problem, the brakes are shot and I removed the masters for rebuilding, and the clutch is not installed.

Well, the bike started up better than I thought so I jumped on and ran down the street! I know some of you might talk some shite but here goes!

Am currently wondering if I can manage another build while waiting for the KTM 790 to be launched in 2018 now the Guzzi is almost done!

just depends on how intense the "build" is. If your adding bolt-ons, no problem. But if your in my boat, ordering parts every dam week......then you might want to reconsider, unless you have tons of patience and good access to parts near by

Was thinking maybe something like my old XS400 tracker but with a more modern bike, possibly a 125cc thing and then just sell it on once complete. Trouble is with these things is getting them built cheap enough to break even when sellling after.

Once you sell it you can wipe your hands clean! You can always sell a half built bike as well. I turned a 1982 Yamaha Virago into a cafe racer one time and rode around with a flat piece of steel as a seat pan and simply sat on that. Old guys called it an ironing board lol. Stripped the paint but never sealed the metal so it grew a nice rust to the tank. Some guy bought it and was all happy to get it even though I had to start the thing with a screw driver connecting the starter solenoid points. The starter button stopped working but he was fine with it.

Cheap ebay parts and homemade barebones wireharness = death machine. I dont want to know what happens to the rider after selling a bike like that
