Newb Youtube Questions - Please Help :)

Just record , edit , if you like it put it up don't worry about all the other stuff like merch & money etc ..make growing your channel the focus ..but even more so make having fun with it the no1 priority ..without you having fun it would be pointless

Well no one really sees your gmail account so it won't make any difference.
You are right - i guess in the modern world, if folks had to contact Ramblin'Rider they would use google+, youtube, facebook, twitter or instagram and email would be last resort? haha

I am just over analyzing, which you will see I do alot ;) lol

I almost want to email the guy who has RamblinRider@gmail and ask him to cancel it haha but upon further research it seems that would not make the name available :(

after searching a bunch of my subs on facebook it seems the top 2 choices are public figure and entertainer...glad i did not chose bloger hahah

You do over analyse too much. Just start making content!
I am prob over analysing so much because I cant make content yet! No helmet (its in the mail!)
and long story short my bike has to be kept 25 minutes away at my sisters house so I generally ride on the weekends only or slow work weeks :( so I have lots of time to prep...too much time haha

After you get your helmet, you'll probably still need some time to work out the best setup, especially audio, so that it's clearly heard with very little wind noise. Happy experimenting.

I've still not got this right. Naked bikes make things a lot more difficult.

O yes! Planning on it :) I am gonna bring a little notebook and a whole lot of electric tape and mini zip ties and try as many settings as a I can, log them in the book and on the camera so i can go back and see
"Ah, #1 sounds much better than #3 " etc etc

That way- hopefully after one long ride of trial and error i will have a setting a can at least start getting content in and tweak it to be better as I go along :)

I also have to put the Sena in when the helmet comes so I will be playing with that as well!

I am sure i will start a Motovlogg Sena questions thread when that happens if there it not one already up lol

i usually do a search and if there is no thread on the topic already or if its old ill start one up :)

why is this? more wind turbulence noise around due to no aerodynamic plastics?

I am interested to see the struggles with an upright dual sport with no wind shield lol

Thanks Mr Fish - I missed this comment yesterday!

Good advice! you see the big guys with all the his merch and on screen prompts and such it makes it feel overwhelming as i mentioned. But if you focus on the 2 main aspects - Filming and fun then it doesnt feel overwhelming at all! :)

Yeah it's the wind. Most of the mini wind screen on naked bikes just blasts wind into your neck. Perfect for the high 30's temperatures of summer but the worst thing in the world for microphones.

Dual sports are actually a lot better in my experience due to the lower speeds and lack of neck blast from having no screen at all.
