I now have the mic up & running so here is my first attempt at a proper vlog style vid ... Hope you're not too bored lol

why does you tube only give me three options for the thumbnail ? None of which I really want to use

Yup, basicslly take your own screenshot of the vid (this function is in VLC), then you csn add text and logos to it, thus branding your thumbnails. Look at my list of videos, few are stock thumbnails.

You can also go back and update old thumbnails too.

Video player, you can snapshot where you pause the vid. Plays most vids that Windows Media player struggles with too.

Good vlog, really enjoyed it. Photography and shots of suburban London were fine as was your style of commentary and humour. You really know how to filter when you're not feeling lazy.....neat!
