I just ordered some of these...

and the site shown managed to update my order from 'Ordered' to 'Shipped' within two minutes of me placing the order. Even has a tracking number and everything! I think that's the fastest I've ever seen that happen - time will tell if it actually arrives quickly too!

Fingers crossed these things do the job I hope they will - they're for wearing under kevlar jeans because with my skinny legs the knee protection that fits inside the jeans is vaguely in position some of the time - at best!

Hehe, good point Pete. Although the job is to sit where they're bloody supposed to, unlike the ones we currently have. The missus is going to use them initially while she learns on the 125 - then if she progresses up to a big bike she'll likely get leathers.

Well - slight update and don't think this has anything to do with the supplier, but the courier has e-mailed telling me it'll be with me in 6 days! Slightly disappointed, although with the weather up here as it is it's no big deal. Guess that's the price in living in the arse end of the country

...and one day later I get an e-mail telling me it'll be here between 6pm and 7pm this evening! I guess they were just buying themselves some time - very good service.

I love it when things work out like that. I dropped something in the mail yesterday afternoon and woke up to the email confirming that it had arrived. It's almost spooky how fast things can move sometimes.

Amazon already do it, but only for prime members who live in Birmingham. Costs a small fortune though!
